Schedule an Appointment

Select the schedule from the menu under your login information. There are two “schedules” to choose from:

1. Writing (Consultations on the writing process across all disciplines and genres)

2. Communication (Consultations on presentations, public speaking, and oratorical skills)

Consultations are available both Online and In-Person. Read the directions at the top of each schedule to make an appointment. 

Appointment Feedback

Within the 24 hours following your appointment, you will receive an email from WCONLINE asking you to provide feedback about your session. This information will be used by staff to learn more about students’ tutoring experiences and to help improve WCH's tutoring programme. 

Personal Data Practices

All peer tutors have access to your tutoring history in the WCONLINE system.

After each appointment, tutors record information about the session in a client report form. These reports detail academic information, such as strategies used, topics discussed, and suggestions for future action. The reports are made accessible to all peer tutors so that the peer tutor can prepare for each session and build upon the student’s previous appointments. Staff will closely monitor all reports, and peer tutors receive official personal data/ privacy training and are required to keep all information from the client reports confidential. We take the privacy of student information very seriously and violations could be subject to disciplinary action.
